  4. At the conclusion of your event, simply return any unsold pieces and only pay the discounted price for any sold items.

Baseball Card Exchange only supplies items with autographs that have been authenticated by the industry leaders – PSA/DNA, JSA (James Spence Authentication), MLB, UDA (Upper Deck Authenticated), Schwartz Sports, Fanatics Authentic, Mounted Memories, Tri-Star, and Steiner Spots.

Additionally, Baseball Card Exchange hosts their own public and private signings with world famous athletes. BBCE has created its own certification sticker and certificate of authenticity for all signings for which a Baseball Card Exchange representative witnesses.

Tips for Success

  • Utilize easels to display the items.
  • Make the items desirable and ready to be immediately hung after purchase.
  • Select items to cater to your specific crowd.
  • Select items with a variety of price points.
  • Display the items in a high traffic location, preferably next to the registration table then moving items to an area near bar/dinner.
  • Make numerous announcements at the event to increase bids.
  • Don’t be afraid to announce time remaining to place bids – i.e., one hour, 30 minutes, 15 minutes, 10 minutes, one minute, and last call.
  • Encourage guests to place bids by letting guests know the proceeds of the event is going to a good cause.
  • Place opening bids yourself to get the action started.
  • Do not run the auction all day long. Keep the auction during a designated shorter time frame.
  • Advertise ahead of time with pictures of the items that will be available.
